BioBorn the son of immigrant sharecroppers, 14 Limes grew up farming a hardscrabble shy acre, pausing only to dodge the occasional tornado. When it came time to go out into the world, 14 sought shelter in a truck loaded with late-harvest riesling grapes. Spared the threshing and seeding of his life by an observant winemaker, 14 went on to earn the apprenticeship of his adopted winery, and the shelter of a lightly-toasted French oak barrel. He can be found busily sorting his PSATs with a view toward enrolling in the viticulture and enology program at the University of California, Davis.
